What’s the difference between the systems?
In a nutshell, Excelerate is our base system, designed for five or less users. It's installed software, as is Excelerate 9000, our flagship program for mid tier and large carriers, brokers, 3PLs and shippers. You can easily migrate from Excelerate to Excelerate 9000 as your needs grow and retain your initial investment. Excelerate Live is a web-based solution for shippers, brokers, 3PLs and carriers and all those in between.
How can you retrieve a customer order fulfilled several weeks or months ago?
Order browsing within the Virtual Dispatch solutions is extremely flexible. Virtually any detail of the transaction will provide a view to a range of shipments. The order is identified very quickly and any detail required by the customer can be immediately communicated.
What does Virtual Dispatch offer for ACE compliance?
With Virtual Dispatch ACE module you can submit required data to U.S. Customs and Border Protection through a fast and secure web connection. In addition, there is two-way communication from Virtual Dispatch to the border and back to you the carrier. Available on Excelerate, Excelerate 9000 and Excelerate Live.
Does Virtual Dispatch offer a TMS solution that is customizable and can grow with our business?
Excelerate 9000 is the only full-function, ACE and EDI ready-transportation management solution that adapts to your business, not vice versa. And while many other systems can't accommodate growth, Excelerate 9000 is fully scalable and runs on the powerful MSSQL database engine. Ideal for companies with 10 or more users.
What does Virtual Dispatch offer for companies that have no access to high speed internet?
Excelerate is ideal for companies with hardware and other server-based applications... a true TL/LTL system with an entry level price.
What kind of reports can our software create?
All Excelerate products offer a host of industry standard reports that provide the information to help you better manage your business, profitability and trending. In addition, our staff will work with you to create custom reports to meet your specific requirements.
Does Virtual Dispatch offer a web-based transportation management solution?
Yes. For just $ 49 a month (per user) you can switch to Excelerate LIVE, a fully automated, web-based dispatch system you can run without spending a single dollar on hardware or software. All you need is high-speed Internet access.
Will the Virtual Dispatch software store spot quotes and proposals that have been offered to customers?
Yes. The software will maintain rate proposals by customer and provide access to tariff schedules on the fly. This allows for detailed professional proposals and consistent pricing to be communicated to customers quickly.
How much training is required?
Typically, a new user of Virtual Dispatch software is entering orders within one hour of program installation. Training is a snap through our online training/help tools.
Is new computer hardware needed in order to run Virtual Dispatch software?
No hardware is needed to run Excelerate LIVE, our web-based solution. Excelerate and Excelerate 9000 can usually run on your existing network as long as it has kept up to industry standards in regards to hardware, network speeds and operating systems.
What sets Virtual Dispatch solutions apart from competing products?
